Bill Belichick proved once again that he's still got a few tricks left up his sleeves. He had the entire NFL think that he was going to roll with second-year quarterback Jarrett Stidham after Brady split for the sunshine in Florida.
That was until he went out and signed former MVP Cam Newton to a one-year deal with the opportunity to "compete" for the starting job. Just like that the Patriots were back in the playoff picture.
Newton isn't sitting around waiting for the season to start either. He's been working his ass off this off-season and is eager to prove that the Panthers fucked up by letting him go, which they probably did.
Now there's video of Newton working out with his new Patriots teammate and one of his new targets, Mohamed Sanu.

If Cam's anywhere close to what he was before all of his injuries then the rest of the league is in a lot of trouble. Let's hope for a Bucs-Pats Super Bowl to help us turn the page on 2020.
