The star player is clearly aware of her importance to Basketball and Women's Sport because of all the marketing hype she's generated over her college career.

It's allowed her to negotiate one of the more lucrative signature deals around, which isn't bad when you think about how insignificant the WNBA has historically been. This just shows us the power of social media and viral appeal.

She gets social media hype for breaking records no one would have previously cared about millions tune into the game and she makes millions because of it. Well deserved, so a little half court shot showing off is the least she can do to celebrate being at the top of her game.
