More details surrounding Cain Velasquez and the man he allegedly shot at. According to reports, Velasquez allegedly shot the stepdad of a man who was accused of molesting one of his relatives.
Court documents show the alleged abuse of Velasquez's family member may have happened as many as 100 times. The former UFC champ is now facing 15 years to life in prison if convicted of attempted murder.

In the Velasquez case, it was a 43-year-old man who was arrested for sexual abuse of a member of his family in a daycare center bathroom and was released. He allegedly tried to shoot the man but hit his father.

Well that explains why Velasquez didn't use his hands and allegedly decided to use a gun. Not that shooting someone, when it's not self defense is acceptable, but it's definitely understandable given the circumstances.
