Jonsen has spent the last two years on Tampa's practice squad and was hoping to make the 53 man roster this upcoming season. Prior to his time in the NFL he played at Oregon, then Riverside City College, before ending up at Montana State.
Back in 2019, Jonsen was a First-Team All-Big Sky player and finished third on the team in rushing and passing, and second in receiving.
A DUI arrest when you're a practice squad player certainly makes the path to the 53 man roster a little more difficult.
