Buck Showalter Got Too Excited About Shakira Attending Game Started Talking About “Hind Snatcher”

It turns out Mets manager Buck Showalter is a big Shakira guy.  Over the weekend he made that awkwardly clear during a pregame press conference.  The singer was a guest for the game at Citi Field.

Showalter thought she was throwing out the first pitch and let "hind snatcher" which he corrected to "hind catcher" then claimed that's what they called the catcher position when he was growing up.
