The latest big name PGA star to be recruited, or bought, by LIV Golf, the Saudi Arabian Golf tour that is giving the PGA a run for its money with a little disruption as they poach their key players, is Bubba Watson!

This has been an ongoing rumor, that has finally been confirmed by the 43 year old 12 time winner who is currently recovering from an injury.

"I couldn't make this move without acknowledging that I am forever grateful for the opportunities provided to me through the PGA Tour and for the any friendships made along the way," Watson said

The official statement - Below:

Fans aren't taking it too well, they do not seem to be loving the disruption from the Saudi funded tour, making it about 9/11 or anti-patriotism.

Comments like:

As the father to adopted kids how do you feel about adoption being illegal in Saudi Arabia?

They get worse, but that's just because people don't like change. Some are calling it the retirement tour, others are saying things like:

“DO IT FOR THE SAUDI ROYAL FAMILY!” a heckler yelled as Phil Mickelson prepared to hit his first shot at the LIV Golf event at Trump Bedminster. He had to step away from the ball.

The internet has also tied President Trump into this whole LIV controversy, since he works in the Golf World and probably sees the new league as healthy competition to the old guard, but to Saudi critics, I guess it's not seen great politically.

I just say, it's Golf people, lighten up! FOUR!
