A Browns and Odell Beckham Jr. divorce could be on its way. A day after the star wide receiver's dad went on a Free OBJ full court press, the team excused him from practice.
I'm told #Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr. has been told he's excused from practice today, per league source. Additionally, it is my understanding that OBJ was ready to attend practice per usual.

It doesn't sound like he'll be returning to the Browns practice field anytime soon either. When asked by reporters if Beckham could be released, head coach Kevin Stefanski, didn't say no.
From Pro Football Talk:
Stefanski said that General Manager Andrew Berry is continuing to talk to Beckham’s representatives a day after Beckham’s father and LeBron James sent messages pushing for Beckham to be moved to another team. There was a report that the Browns and Saints discussed a trade before the deadline, but nothing came to fruition.
Stefanski confirmed Josina Anderson’s report that the team excused Beckham from the session and said, via Zac Jackson of TheAthletic.com, that “they’re discussing a lot of things” when asked if releasing Beckham is a possibility.
If you want out of Cleveland just have a parent insult the team's quarterback publicly. If OBJ is released, how long before he ends up in Tampa Bay?
