Boxing reporter Michelle Joy Phelps took to Twitter on Tuesday to make a few announcements. Among them, and probably the one that got the most attention, is that she is joining OnlyFans. The 37-year-old revealed in her announcement that the move came after extensive research.
🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨 After years of dedicated content creation & extensive research on subscription based platforms, I’m taking the plunge & joining the largest (and fastest!) growing platform for savvy creators of ALL categories… it’s official… I’M JOINING ONLYFANS!

It's unclear whether or not Phelps plans to drop any explicit content on the site. She followed up her initial announcement by saying that she will be launching her podcast there and teasing that there will be more.
So come join me there where I’ll be EXCLUSIVELY launching my brand new podcast, and more!
Details to follow 👊🏼

The announcement had fans and at least one boxing champion excited. IBF bantamweight champion Ebanie Bridges showed her excitement of the news with a tweet of her own. Fans have often asked her to join the subscription based platform, to this point she's resisted, but she's clearly not against it.

I've made my thoughts on the OnlyFans fad known multiple times. If there's money to be made, go make it. There's no reason in this day and age not to if that's what you're comfortable doing.
