COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Boomer Esiason might be onto something here.
The former NFL quarterback revealed his theory that College Football coaches were having their players get COVID-19 on purpose during a recent episode of "That SEC Podcast."
"So these guys can get sick now as opposed to getting sick during the college football season if, in fact, there is one. And I’m telling you right now I wouldn’t put it past any of those guys down there. I think it’s going on."
Boomer Esiason believes SEC teams and Clemson are giving players Covid-19 now to help their football programs in anticipation for the fall season.

I don't think we can put anything past football coaches. On the other hand, it makes a ton of sense. The young get the virus and the young recover with very little complications.
You'll never get any of the coaches to admit that they tried to create some herd immunity among their players, but it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility.
