Bob Baffert Blamed Hay That a Groomer Peed On for Medina Spirit’s Positive Test Before Admitting the Horse Was Given Steroids

Bob Baffert has had himself a wild few days in the spotlight following the failed drug test of his Kentucky Derby winning horse Medina Spirit. He first blamed some bizarre horse racing community conspiracy against his horses, before saying cancel culture was at fault.

He then hilariously blamed one of the horse's groomers. He claimed the groomer peed on Medina Spirit's hay after taking cold medicine and then the horse ate it.

All of that to come out on Tuesday and finally own up to the fact that the horse was administered medicine containing the steroid.... What a ride. You would never be able to make this stuff up.

Baffert says one test issue was created by a groom urinating in the stall after the groom had been taking cough medicine. Horse ate some of the hay.

One thing is very clear after all of this, Bob Baffert needs a camera on him 24/7. He's nonstop entertainment.
