Blackhawks winger Jujhar Khaira was knocked out cold on Tuesday night by a brutal hit from Rangers defenseman Jacob Trouba. The hit appears to have caught Khaira on the chin. He then fell to the ice where he remained until being stretchered off the ice.
Now full disclosure, I've never played hockey and I can't even skate, but I have to believe an NHL level player can skate with the puck without staring at it the entire time. Khaira has his head down the entire time as he turns with the puck.

Keep your head on a swivel! I'm not blaming Khaira for being knocked out, the hit was very high, but at the same time he has to know a hit is coming. You can't stare at your feet for that long in the NHL.
