Baton Rouge Sportscaster Pokes Fun at Trevor Lawrence’s Engagement With a Joe Burrow Joke

The LSU Tigers beat the Clemson Tigers during last season's National Championship game. It's a fact that LSU fans will remind the world at any and every opportunity.

Baton Rouge sportscaster Matt Trent did just that this weekend while reporting on Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence's engagement to longtime girlfriend Marissa Mowry.

Trent dropped a Joe Burrow joke while reporting on Lawrence's big news, "Congrats to both of them. Joe Burrow, not available for comment, but don't worry, Trevor. Daddy is proud of you. Geaux, Tigers!"

Nothing better than seeing your son take the next step as a man.
