Baker Mayfield’s Wife Says He Received Death Threats

The Browns lost a close game to the Packers this weekend and are falling out of the playoff picture fast.  Baker Mayfield had a rough game, throwing 4 interceptions in the two point loss.

On Tuesday his wife Emily took to social media to call out the negativity he's received as a result, including death threats, "The death threats, lies being told about my husband, and blatant DISRESPECT never ceases to amaze me."

Emily went on to say that she prays for the people who send those kinds of messages.

I'm an almost anything goes kind of guy on game day.  Yell at players, say pretty much anything you want, you know except for anything racist or too personal.  But sending messages after the game on social media is fucking insane.

I can't imagine a Browns fan, with all that the franchise has been through at the quarterback position, sending Baker Mayfield death threats or anything negative really.  The dude has been the best quarterback the team has seen in a long, long time.

People need to log the fuck off and get a life.
