Australian rules football player Elijah Taylor was suspended for the rest of the 2020 season after his 18-year-old girlfriend Lekahni Pearce visited him in the team's bubble.  The violation was reported by a couple of his teammates.

Pearce is said to have jumped fences and walked across a golf course in order to sneak into the bubble, although she denies that part of the story.  She doesn't deny visiting Taylor in his room.

From NY Post:

Last week, Pearce breached the Sydney Swans’ quarantine area to visit 19-year-old Taylor, allegedly jumping fences and crossing a golf course to reunite with her athlete beau. On Tuesday, Pearce apologized for the couple’s actions, calling their missteps “a really big mistake.”

“I am sorry for everything,” Pearce said, according to News.com.au.

Pearce, who also boasts over 3,000 Instagram followers, also dismissed claims she jumped fences to meet Taylor.

“No security, I didn’t see a security guard,” she said in an interview with Australia’s Channel 7. “I just walked through, went to his room. That’s how easy it was. I didn’t jump any fences.”

What are 18-year-old and 19-year-olds supposed to do?  Sure there's a pandemic, but they're in an extremely low risk group and their horny.  A bubble is no match for that.
