Aryna Sabalenka Will Not Thank Her Team!

Aryna Sabalenka is a Miami based 24 year old Belarusian tennis pro who has been ranked number 2 in the world of Women's Tennis. Her best results were in 2021 making it to the semi-finals for both Wimbledon and the US Open.

Back on November 8, which was only a few days ago, France's Caroline Garcia had a straight set win against in the finals against Aryna Sabalenka in Texas. It was the final event of their tennis season.

Which means, Aryna Sabalenka was close to winning the finals and when asked about her performance or why she lost, she said that she lowered her intensity in the second set.

She went onto say:

"I will not thank my team for double faults!

But she was just joking, as she added:

"Joke, of course, we have done an incredible job over the past twelve months and I can only thank them for the goals we have achieved together. I was hoping to end the season in another way, but I'm satisfied anyway."

All this to say, we're looking forward to seeing more of her in 2023!!
