New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara faces criminal, civil, and league imposed penalties for an alleged assault that took place earlier in the year at the Pro Bowl in Las Vagas.
The victim claims he was trying to get on the elevator with Kamara and his boys, but was being prevented by the player, before basically getting stomped out in the elevator.
According to the civil suit, the victim suffered injuries to the head, back, shoulder, knees and had a disfiguring facial fracture.
You can never really trust civil cases, ambulance chasing lawyers get excited when they see dollar signs and push as hard as they can for those. In this case, they seek 10 million in damages that will be settled out of court, obviously.
That's still not justification for the pro athlete to get violent with anyone, even if they are overly excited or drunk fans, even if that person is the one who gets violent first, when high profile, you just need to walk away and protect your assets! Who knows, maybe the athlete was even targeted for this to go down because it is going to be a pay day.
Maybe your retirement strategy should be finding rich people, riling them up and getting them to beat you down, only to sue them. I should be a financial planner.
In the TMZ video, you can see the brawl go down.
