Alica Schmidt is currently ranked 70 in the world for the 400 m dash. I am not sure if that's strong enough for her to make it to the Olympics, but it could be.

It seems like the athlete who went viral and was positioned as the world's hottest athlete has managed to get a lot of brand support and sponsorships thanks to her massive audience from that hype.

With that money, she is training all the time, competing and doing what is probably everything she can to make it to the Olympics. It's good for business and it is good for legitimacy!
