Alica is marketed as the World's Sexiest Athlete, which is something that she has discounted or downplayed as often as she can because apparently you can't be appreciative of the hype that you get and you must punish men for objectifying women and not focusing on their skill in the sport.

In reality, if we followed Schmidt's lead and didn't bother with their looks or hype them up due to their looks she probably wouldn't have the life that she has.

She may be an elite athlete who finally qualified for the Olympics after 4 years of hard work, but at the time she went viral she wasn't in the Olympics and wouldn't have been noticed or celebrated.

She would have been ignored, no brands would have given her money and she wouldn't have been able to train for 4 years to get where she wanted to go.

Also, if she really hated being the World's Sexiest Athlete, she probably wouldn't have pounded us down with all these vacation pics, many of which include her bikini!
