Alex Smith is a tough son of a bitch.
If playing after suffering one of the worst broken legs in the history of the NFL wasn't enough to convince you, he took down the undefeated Steelers after catching a cleat to the leg.
The cleat left a hole in Smith's lower leg and caused him to bleed everywhere. Luckily for Washington he was able to continue and lead them to a 23-17 win.
The sure Comeback Player of the Year threw for 296 yards and a touchdown during what ended up being a big win.

The win improved Washington's record to 5-7 and gave them a share of first place in the NFC East. Smith and company are heating up at the right time.
