Alabama wide receiver John Metchie was having himself a big game against Georgia in the SEC Championship Game. He had six catches for 97 yards and a touchdown when he went down with a leg injury at the end of the first half.
Metchie was running a route at the time of the injury and went down without contact. Those can be some of the more concerning types of injuries. As the second half got underway he was ruled out for the rest of the game.
John Metchie went down with a non-contact injury on this play 🙏🙏

Alabama will probably be just fine without Metchie. They have plenty of other options at wide receiver and the offense in the SEC Championship Game is rolling right now.
