Just when you thought having Dak Prescott back meant it was the Cowboys year.  NFL insider Adam Schefter rained on that parade.

During halftime of the Chiefs and Cardinals preseason game, Schefter provided an update on the shoulder injury that has sidelined Prescott this preseason.

According to Schefter, the Cowboys quarterback might not be "fully back" all season.

From Pro Football Talk:

Regarding Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his lingering absence due to a shoulder strain, Schefter said, “He’s not fully back, he may not be back all season long.”

Schefter pointed to the shoulder injury and the broken ankle from last year, and he didn’t specify which injury would potentially keep Dak at under 100 percent. However, the shoulder injury quite possibly resulted from the ankle injury.

You're welcome Cowboys fans.  You now have an excuse for winning only 8 games this season.  We know...if Dak was healthy the Cowboys would have won the Super Bowl.
