Aaron Rodgers' issues with the Packers have nothing to do with money. That's been said throughout his holdout and that hasn't changed.
According to Adam Schefter, the Packers offered Rodgers a massive two-year contract extension.
The deal would have kept him in a Packers uniform for five more seasons and made him the highest paid player in the NFL. He turned down the deal.
This off-season, the Packers offered Aaron Rodgers a two-year contract extension that would have tied him to Green Bay for five more seasons and made him the highest-paid QB and player in football.
Rodgers declined the offer, proof it’s not about the money.

Will this standoff end with Rodgers reluctantly taking the field for the Packers this season? Probably. Will he eventually take the field for a different team? The chances of that happening are also pretty good.
