On Friday night Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers pledged $500,000 to the Barstool Fund.
If you're not familiar with the fund, and it's possible you aren't because it's not receiving the national attention it deserves, it was setup by Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy to provide COVID-19 relief to small businesses.
Incredibly the fund has raised over $20 million. The funds are being distributed quickly to help small businesses make ends meet as the response to the pandemic continues to cripple a very important part of the American economy.
The videos of real people responding to having their livelihood and that of their employees saved are heartwarming. Rodgers joined Pornoy on Instagram Live to throw his support behind the Barstool Fund. Here's that video.

Dave Portnoy has done the impossible again. He's raised a shitload of money for an incredible cause and he made Aaron Rodgers likeable to many of his haters.
Hopefully Rodgers gets sent home from the playoffs early so that he can further help out with the Barstool Fund!
