Serena Williams Bids on NFL’s Flag Football Team!

Serena Williams and her Reddit founding husband own some sport teams. Including a minority stake in the Dolphins which Serena bought with her sister and a Toronto WNBA team called the TEMPO who are slated to start playing in 2026. They also own part of the Los Angeles Women's Soccer league along with their daughter and a golf team in Los Angeles within Tiger Wood's TGL Golf League.

The tennis icon and her husband Alexis Ohanian have now put a bid in for a team in NFL's flag football league concept along with 10 other parties.

The league is getting a lot of hype outside of High School gym teachers union. The non violent, elementary school friendly flag game doesn't typically bring the CTE but can still bring the excitement to the fans.

The NFL is investing in the league, but wants other partners to operate it, so they can focus on the media deals, rights, etc. Williams and Ohanian want to be those other partners.

Flag football is also scheduled to debut in 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, so it's early stage start-up, something the Reddit Bro is used to.

Owning sports teams is trendy for the rich folks of the world, where they get bragging rights amongst their peers while their hired athletes compete against each other while they watch from their sky boxes!
