For those of you who don't follow skiing, even if it's making a huge comeback as the prestigious sport that it once was in the 60s-90s. America's star skier who pushed the sport so hard that she's had many injuries that forced her into retirement.
Her sponsors never gave up on her, they kept paying her and using her despite being retired.
Which is why they are probably very excited that the skier is back to ski her first World Cup 5 years after retirement.
One of her key sponsors has been Rolex, which is pretty exciting for anyone who likes watches, because they likely gift her a Rolex per year and that's money on top of the money.
They seem to really like her or at least are trying to get their return on investment with her because they've posted these pictures for her.

Five years after retiring from competition, @lindseyvonn is making a comeback. Returning to the top of the mountain, where she feels most at home. The American alpine skiing legend’s audacious, all-or-nothing style brought numerous accolades during a glittering 20-year career, including Olympic gold and four overall World Cup titles. We wish her all the very best at this weekend’s event at St. Moritz.
