Alica Schmidt was marketed as the world's sexiest athlete thanks to going viral at the last Olympics, which she didn't even compete in.

It's a title that she's been public about not really liking because it reduces her skill in her sport to her looks, but at the same time it's a title that has given her a life.

With the viral success of that label, she's managed to land lucrative brand sponsors which allowed her to get back to the Olympics four years later.

This past weekend, she revealed that she made the German Olympic team, that she is heading to Paris and its a pretty big deal.

She captioned it with "Never stop chasing your dreams", which are definitely words of wisdom from the athlete.

Over the last four years, she has maintained her social media celebrity by posting her hard daily training sessions, so if anyone deserves the Olympic dream, it's Alica.
