Ellie Thumann is a Sports Illustrated Rookie of the year model, who was apparently a very big Youtuber before Sports Illustrated decided to cast her in an attempt to tap into her vast audience.

As you may or may not know, smart marketers position their brands as some highly exclusive brand that people want to voluntarily be a part of. They want that stamp of approval that can leverage their own personal brand and Sports Illustrated has done it right.

Most American women of all ages know the magazine, they know the prestige and they'd be honored to be included in it, no matter how hard they are being used by the magazine to either push their "Woke" diversity agenda, or to try to maintain their relevance by being marketed hard on the models' feed for free because the model is so honored to be included.

It's lunacy.

Well, Ellie Thumann, the SI Rookie of 2023 was in Vegas and looked great and definitely worthy of being an SI Swim model, even if they were just using her for her massive audience!
