Sports Illustrated has been going viral the last few days because they've been accused of using AI to write their "Gear" oriented articles to push affiliate marketing sales commissions since traditional advertising doesn't pay and sites rely on the consumer to click the links and buy the products to pay the salaries and keep the lights on.
As a boutique shop, I can understand the appeal, but SI is hardly a boutique shop and should be more honest to their readers.
The good news is that they are still doing their SWIMSUIT EDITION and they haven't replaced the models with AI models yet, they have replaced a few for some diversity bonus points that we all know they don't actual believe in but are doing for posturing to be able to keep bringing the hot girls to the fans in these uncertain times.
As expected, they have brought back Livvy Dunne, who made it a point of making a big deal of her debut with Swimsuit saying it was always her dream. That was shocking to me because I thought the new generation hated that kind of thing, but I guess the allure of being an SI Swim model is not just for people in the 80s and 90s, but also today.
She is officially being named a ROOKIE, even though she was in it last year and apparently this is her dream coming true and I think it's great that girls still have vapid, meaningless dreams involving stripping down and being fetishized by millions of men. We need it!
It seems like the shoot took place in Portugal, that Livvy was in bikini as you'd want and she posted this preview of it the other day:
