For those of you who don't know, $6,000,000 dollars in Kansas City real estate is equivalent to 100,000,000 dollars in LA, Miami and New York, maybe even more, so it's actually not that much money for the level of house the Kelce got with his Pfizer money.
The star player is also under a 57 million dollar, 4 year contract, that I assume is up at the end of the year or next, so he's playing extra hard and getting extra marketing around himself, Lamar Jackson makes 80 million a year. Deshaun Watson makes 46 million a year and Mahomes makes 40 million a year, so there's room for Kelce to grow.
Part of his marketing plan is simping to Taylor Swift, the least exciting, yet most popular woman in entertainment, and he's gone so far as to buy a new house to accommodate her high maintenance celebrity needs. The things people do for money.
The house is in a gated community, it has a tennis court and a pickleball court and other things.
The star player already owned a 7 bedroom house that he bought in 2019 for under 1,000,000, so clearly he's leveling up.
In other news, Kelce cleared things up about pushing Taylor Swift's security on his podcast with his brother.
“I didn’t push him, I placed my hand on the gentleman’s back to let him know I was behind him. If I would have pushed him, he probably would have turned around and tased me.”
Jason went on to say:
“That sounds like a way that somebody who pushed somebody would describe pushing them,”
“‘I didn’t push them. I just put my hand on them and moved them,’”
“’Good sir, can you excuse me? I need to get the door. Sorry. I’m right behind you. I don’t want to startle you. I know it’s your job to keep crazy people away, and if you just randomly get pushed in the back while standing in front of a door, that could probably be a little alarming,’” Travis Kelce continued in a joking tone.
When asked if he feels like a security guard for Taylor Swift, Travis said:
“I feel like whenever I’m on a date I’m always having the sense of, like, I’m a man in the situation. I’m like protective. Yeah, for sure. You always kind of have that feeling or that self-awareness, I guess,”
