There was a funny viral story that we'll assume they are making a TV series out of, where Chess grandmaster Hans Niemann was accused of using vibrating anal beads to win against Magnus Carlsen back in September 2022.

Carlsen ended up in this weird feud because the 19 year old ended his 53 game unbeaten streak. Carlsen quit the tournament after the match and accused the 19 year old of cheating.

The rumor was that he used a vibrating anal bead to signal what move to make, which Niemann obviously denied and filed a lawsuit in a federal court in Missouri, where Niemann claimed that another player named Nakamura and Carlsen had ruined his career with allegations that he had cheated.

The parties have resolved the dispute out of court, so it's an important sports update for all you aspiring chess players practicing your game with your anal beads!
