Astros Player Chas McCormick’s Cheap Play!

Tex Hollywood - July 7, 2023

The Astros were playing the Mariners last night, as you baseball fans probably know. The Astros are in the top of their division and I guess there's some rivalry between the two teams after Houston eliminated the Mariners last year.

Last night, the tides shifted and the Mariners ended up winning 5-1, which would be a huge win, if the fans weren't angry about a play by Chas McCormick.

In the ninth, the outfielder hit a groundball to the shortstop, who tossed it to first base Ty France for the out.

On the way to the base, McCormick threw a little arm at Ty France's arm, as if to slap the ball out of the glove, which could have resulted in an injury. Sleazy.
