P.K. Subban Makes Fat Joke and Causes Outrage!

I was under the impression that the whole woke thing died off, that people got bored of it and that people went back to taking life a little less seriously, making fun of common things we've made fun of since the dawn of time, and still make fun of in our day to day offline lives, while pretending to be decent on social media as to no offend in our online life.

I am not trying to defend P.K. Subban, but it's pretty racist of you for not defending someone who is diverse, bringing hope to younger people in the sport of hockey by letting them see someone who looks like them play. That is until he makes a fat joke, then it's out with the internet lynch mob.

During an ESPN broadcast, while covering the Leafs vs Panthers playoff game, Subban suggested that Toronto could rebound after it's 4-2 loss to Florida by saying "Maybe they need to pack a Lizzo-Sized lunch" because the team wasn't prepared.

The reference, for those who don't know, was to the sheer size of Lizzo, something she herself has made part of her marketing campaign and personal brand. A plus sized ambassador, because there is no secret that she's the size of the Team's bus.
