Charlotte's LaMelo Ball, who was haivng a game-high of 26 points, ran up on a courtside fan and rolled his ankle at last night's game.
Apparently, the Hornet's player will be out for some time and has led to discussions about moving the courtside fans back from the court, because clearly it can be dangerous.
In watching the video, it looks like LaMelo is targeting the fan and running up on him, but I guess that's not what happened. They are saying, he accidentally landed on a man's foot not being aware of his surrounding, as accidents do happen.
I figure if you're an NBA player and there's courtside fans as part of the game, you should figure out your spacing.
To take away the courtside seats from the rich and famous would be a tragedy I don't think the rich and famous could survive. How will the media capture them showing off how rich and famous they are, living that exclusive seat life, having their assistant capture every time they appear on the game's broadcast, so people know they are there.
To make things worse, LeMelo already injured that foot and missed time becasue of that foot.
