TENNIS

Women's Tennis is one of the hottest sports around, one that I personally enjoy watching, because as a fan of Tennis, the elite women are actually really impressive athletes and fun to watch in their skirts. I'm so sexist, but according to Romanian Sorana Cirstea, I am not the only one!
There is a story going around that the big name in women's tennis was told by one of her sponsors (Adidas) that her looks were more important in her becoming a top tier player than her actual tennis.
It's not surprising in this OnlyFans era of athletes turning to the platform for funding, that a brand would have that approach to the female athletes in all their sports, because they know that sex appeal gets people interested in the athlete, the sport, the brands that support them. So being beautiful in beneficial to all levels of her career. It's the sad truth, just not for us, or for Sorana Cirstea, since she's hot!
The quote reads: "I remember when I signed a contract with Adidas. All the time, and considering they thought I was good-looking for an athlete, they told me: ‘It’s better to be pretty and be in the top 20 than to be ugly and be No. 1’,” Cirstea said in the podcast, according to Eurosport. “If you’re in the top 20, you’re seen everywhere, you’re there 24 hours a day, seven days a week, every week, every tournament.”
Sounds about right, the world is filled with perverts, especially in marketing departments at Adidas, apparently.
