As you know, WNBA star Brittney Griner, is in a Russian prison after being sentenced to nine years for drug smuggling. It was a viral story a few months ago that everyone has pretty much given up on, because she did bring drugs into Russian, which last I checked, was a dumb thing to do! I mean, I wouldn't even travel to the Caribbean with CBD for the whole not wanting to get arrested in the event there's THC in it!

Well, Stephen Curry was profiled in Rolling Stone magazine, which is still around and working on being culturally relevant again, I'm not sure if they actually are, but that doesn't matter!

What matters is that Steph claims he reached out to President Biden's staff to help in the Griner case, but he got shut down!

He said “They were telling us, ‘Don’t say anything,'”

It is probably important to add that Curry was a Biden endorser during the election, so he's not just talking smack on the leader of the free world!

I don't know what kind of help a pro athlete could really provide in international, diplomatic conversations, but there is always Dennis Rodman's peace deal with North Korea to guide us into a better tomorrow!

This could just be a case of Steph Curry pretending he tried to help out, like he's some kind of hero who cares, and not just a vapid overpaid celebrity!

I guess all anyone can do is keep bringing attention to the story, in this fast news cycle, collapse of society, inflation, covid and everything else, a drug smuggling WNBA player because old news fast!
