Just yesterday we posted a clip of a Panthers and Patriots Brawl at their joint practice, which to me is a concept that makes no sense, unless it is designed to generate some drama, like with these brawls.
From a logical perspective, you just can't have two elite teams going up against each other in a practice setting, which arguably has less stakes than an actual season game, but that is more casual and thus has more opportunity to get blood boiling.
I may not be a pro athlete, you know rocking this computer body that causes carpal injury, but if I was, the only way to really win is to want to destroy the enemy, and every team is the enemy, whether on the field or not.
I always thought athlete trades would be so weird, because by definition, all the players SHOULD hat each other, so moving into the new locker room is like walking into enemy territory, but I get it, they are high paid professionals!
I am still convinced these joint practices are for the drama, the excitement, the brawls, and the Panthers and Patriots seem to be proving that. Setting the foundation for a season rivalry, which you need to keep things exciting!
