Due to mismanagement, The Glazer family are considering selling a stake in Manchester United football club, which is arguably one of the highest valued teams in the world, because I guess they are just that popular, but that's not the story that's going viral.

Battery manufacturer Elon Musk, who is marketed as the richest man in the world, which impresses people enough to have turned him into their own Iron Man / Tony Stark, making him to become a top tier influencer who likes to troll because all his trolls go viral, probably entertain the sociopath while being a pretty sad reflection of where we are at as a society.

In his latest joke, he got the hopes up fo Manchester United fans by saying he is going to buy them.

I guess this got a lot of fans very excited, because they don't seem too happy with the current owners, it's soccer, so I don't really know the dynamics of the team.

But soon after making the tweet, getting a lot of support and excitement he had to squash some dreams with a follow-up stating it was a joke.

'No, this is a long-running joke on Twitter. I'm not buying any sports teams. Although, if it were any team, it would be Man U. They were my fav team as a kid.'

To which fans said things like:

'You couldn't let us have hope for at least 24 hours',

Manchester United fans, desperate for a bit of hope, aren't too happy the billionaire is making a joke out of them.
