Golfer Grayson Murray had a rough day on Sunday. A couple of frustrating moments led him to throw a putter and snap a club over his knee. His US Open highlights quickly went viral and elicited a response by Paige Spiranac, who took to social media to defend his actions.

Murray took this as an invite to shoot his shot and did so by responding to Paige's video. He said, "let's see your club throw Paige."
let’s see your club throw Paige. https://t.co/zlrzAvB12X

For the record it doesn't look like she responded to his comment.
Some people just don't know when to shoot their shot. It's generally never a good idea to do so coming off of a terrible day on the course. Had he gone viral for a great shot or a hole-in-one or something, then you shoot.
Twitter had thoughts on his attempt....

The internet has a way of bringing people together doesn't it? You love to see it. Better luck next time, both on and off the course.
