Colin Kaepernick received a formal workout with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday. A workout that reportedly went well and could lead to his return to the NFL after a five year absence.
It was a hot topic on ESPN which always means Stephen A. Smith has to weigh in. And weigh in he did. According to the hot take machine the reason former President Donald Trump high jacked the kneeling for the anthem controversy was because the NFL owners screwed Trump when he attempted to purchase the Buffalo Bills.
How does Stephen A. know this? Because according to Stephen A, Trump called him in 2014 and told him that if the owners screwed him over on the purchase of the Bills he was going to run for president.
"In 2014, Donald Trump wanted to purchase the Buffalo Bills. This was before he ever decided to run for President. Donald Trump called yours truly, that would be me, and he said that he wanted to purchase the Buffalo Bills. And I'll never forget what he said to me. He said, 'If those owners screw me over, I’m going to show them. I’m going to get them all back. I'm going to run for President of the United States.'"
Stephen A Smith shared that Donald Trump called him in 2014 when attempting to buy the Buffalo Bills and told him-

Did any of this happen? Is this fake news? Twitter isn't buying Stephen A's Trump story.

Lol so Trump ran for President because he couldn’t buy the Bills. Nobody with a brain actually believes this

The story is hilarious, even if it happened, which it probably didn't. But even funnier are the people on social media seeing who aren't buying it.
