The Carolina Panthers might not be set at quarterback, despite drafting Matt Corral last month. They're reportedly still interested in both Jimmy Garoppolo and Baker Mayfield.
The hangup seems to be they can't convince the 49ers or the Browns to eat most of the salary in a trade.
As I've reported several times, the Panthers are still interested in Mayfield/Garoppolo at QB, but in order for a trade to take place the other team would have to agree to pick up a large portion of their salary. Nothing has changed on that front for weeks.

In other words the Panthers don't know what they're doing when it comes to the quarterback position. As if replacing Cam Newton with Teddy Bridgewater only to replace Bridgewater with Sam Darnold then re-sign Newton didn't prove that already.
