As much as things are changing for Kenny Pickett, some things are staying the same. The former Pitt quarterback was drafted by the Steelers with the No. 20 overall pick meaning he will now be in the NFL, but he gets to stay in the Pittsburgh area.
Pickett will be taking that next step with his now fiancee Amy Paternoster, who was there for his college success too. She's clearly his No. 1 fan and is looking forward to his NFL career in Pittsburgh getting started.
Pickett, the Steelers are hoping, is their franchise quarterback of the future. He'll likely sit behind Mitchell Trubisky for a season or so given Trubisky's play.
After that it will be Pickett and Paternoster's time as king and queen of Pittsburgh.
