Reports surfaced on Thursday night that Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph was a person of interest in a fatal shooting that took place in Dallas back in March.

On Friday Joseph's attorney confirmed that he was in the vehicle that fired the shots.  He also denied that Joseph was the shooter, saying he was unarmed.

From The Dallas Morning News:

Cowboys cornerback Kelvin Joseph was a passenger in a vehicle from which several gunshots were fired last month, killing a man in the Old East Dallas area, but Joseph was unarmed and did not kill the man, per his attorney.

Are we headed for another Aaron Hernandez situation or is Joseph just hanging out with the wrong people?  We shall see.

Obviously Joseph isn't the star that Hernandez was but he would still be throwing away a career in the NFL.
