Dodgers lefthander Clayton Kershaw had everything working on Wednesday in Minnesota. Through seven innings he had 13 strikeouts and a perfect game going on just 80 pitches. Given the fact that there have only been 23 perfect games in MLB history his manager sent him back out there to go for number 24 right?
Wrong. Kershaw's manager is Dave Roberts and Dave Roberts hates perfect games. He yanked Kershaw after the 7th inning and handed the game over to his bullpen. Incredibly this isn't the first time Roberts has pulled a guy with a perfect game going and it's time for Major League Baseball to permanently ban him.
Since 1901, two pitchers have been pulled from a game after throwing 7+ perfect innings:

- Clayton Kershaw, today— Stats By STATS (@StatsBySTATS) April 13, 2022
I'm not kidding at all. This super soft style of managing should be banned. Picking an arbitrary number of pitches then taking that pitcher out no matter what once they hit that number is worthy of jail time.
Clayton Kershaw needs to be suspended too. You can't let your manager take you out in that situation without physical violence.
