Peyton Manning Wants Tom Brady to Return the Retirement Gifts He Sent

Tom Brady's retirement lasted just over a month.  During that time another NFL legend, Peyton Manning, found time to send Brady a couple retirement gifts.

Manning revealed at an event hosted by The Mint Collective, that he sent Brady a handwritten note and a bottle of wine.  He also said he wants Brady to return the gifts.

Peyton Manning said that, when Tom Brady retired, he sent him a handwritten note and a bottle of wine.

I see where Manning is coming from.  Sending a gift for an intended purpose then having those circumstances change isn't ideal.  But this is kind of on him.

You have to wait until the season actually starts with Brady in retirement to send him a gift.  Not doing so just means you're out what was supposed to be a retirement gift.
