Giants Sign Tyrod Taylor to Backup Daniel Jones

Tyrod Taylor is taking his talents to the Big Apple.  He's getting paid to do so too.  He'll be Daniel Jones' backup until he underperforms, which is likely.

The two years and the amount of guaranteed money seem to indicate they plan on Tyrod seeing the field at some point.

He could serve as the quarterback who escorts Jones out of town while filling the gap as the Giants look for a franchise quarterback.

It's hard not to root for Tyrod.  He's had about as many bad breaks throughout his NFL career as a player can have.

Don't get me wrong, he's been paid handsomely for his unlucky career and he's in a relationship with a model, so I don't feel too bad.
