Kent State will take on Akron on Saturday night in the Mid-American Conference Men's Basketball Tournament's title game. A bid to the NCAA Tournament is on the line.
The rivalry between the two teams is one that runs deep. And on Friday after advancing to the MAC Championship game a few Kent State players celebrated on Snapchat with an Akron diss video.
The higher ups in the Mid-Atlantic Conference weren't fans of the video and suspended four Kent State players as a result. DJ Johnson was suspended indefinitely. Malique Jacobs, Cli'Ron Hornbeak and Julius Rollins are all suspended for the first half of the Akron game.
Jacobs is the only player of the suspended players to have played in the MAC tournament and is the team's second leading scorer this season. Here is the video in question.

This doesn't seem like a suspension worthy video. It's a rivalry and there was some profanity used. Big deal. There were no threats or anything like that. Let the kids play!
