Over the weekend the Nebraska Women's Basketball team suspended associate head coach Chuck Love with pay and removed starting guard Ashley Scoggin from its roster.

So what happened to cause the two moves and are the two moves related?  Don't ask Nebraska, the Cornhuskers aren't saying.

The University of Nebraska-Lincoln would not comment on Love's suspension, only saying it's a personnel matter.

The husband and father was suspended with pay.

Sunday, a reporter pressed Williams: “We got two separate news releases yesterday, are those two things connected,” he asked.

“That’s something that I can't answer at this time but certainly something that we are just going to focus on our current team,” Williams responded.

It sure seems like the two moves are related...  The details of which will eventually come out.

If it's of the inappropriate relationship type the suspension and removal from the roster punishments don't really fit.  We'll have to wait and see.
