No I'm not kidding...

UConn head coach Dan Hurley was tossed in the first half of what ended up being a 71-69 UConn win over Villanova for pumping up the crowd.  This move came after he received a technical foul for banging his hands on the scorer's table following a no-call on what he thought was a foul.

You can't make this up.  Here's the first technical foul.

And here's the one that sent him to the showers early.

So it turns out you're not allowed to pump the crowd up if you've just been given a technical foul.  I'm not sure what page of the rulebook that is written on, but okay.

Remember kids, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
