ECU Loses Game After an Absurd Mid-Pitch Timeout Erased a Walk-Off Home Run

Baseball season is back, not for the MLB they're dealing with a lockout due in large part to a group of dickhead owners.  College Baseball is here to scratch your baseball itch for the time being.

It didn't take long, just two games into ECU's season, for an umpire to make a ridiculous call.  Somehow the first base umpire granted a timeout mid-pitch and ruined a walk-off home run for ECU.

This walk off bomb for ECU was called back because the 1st base ump gave a timeout as the pitcher was starting his wind up.

ECU would go on to lose the game in extra innings.  The umpire who made this call then upheld it after watching the game winning home run fly over the wall should be fired.
