The Cowboys didn't fire head coach Mike McCarthy despite a disappointing early exit from the playoffs. That doesn't mean they're planning to run it back with the current roster.
In fact two stars are expected to be cut this off-season. According to Cowboys insider Bobby Belt, both wide receiver Amari Cooper and defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence are expected to be salary cap casualties.
Feels like this is where things are heading. Stephen sounded like he was laying the foundation for it this week, and a number of people connected to the decisions are anticipating it to come to fruition.
Both players are still stars and wouldn't be unemployed for very long. https://t.co/QCGuArVg1i

Something tells me it doesn't matter what moves the Cowboys make. Cut guys, add pieces, it's all going to lead to the same results. Disappointment in Dallas.
